Try to read your text early morning, and make small notes of everything you study.

To understand structures(e.g DNA) etc, try to imagine a tree with its root as the structure name(Deoxyribo Nucleic Acid). Its branches could be the contents of the cell((Adenine (A), Cytosine (C), Guanine (G) and Thymine (T).), then the sub-branches could be the contents of the branches (Adenine = C5H5N5 … etc).

For systems (e.g respiratory), draw a flowchart, of how the flowing substance (i.e. Oxygen/CO2) travels within that system. [For the circulatory system the fluid would be blood]
