I love how girls always care so much about school and flip out about these things.

Meanwhile, my 14 year old brother could give a rats a$$ as he watches scrubs and plays warcraft on the computer all day.

I need a daughter.

No one’s helping so here’s what I suggest.

I got a 1470 back when the SATs were 1600.

My mom signed me up for SAT school, which I went to for about a year. I took the full 3 hour SAT test every single friday for the next year and had SAT class each saturday morning. I knew the SAT test front to back, knew what to expect and did ridiculous amounts problems.

Between doing tests, taking classes and doing the homework

it pretty much prepared me very well.

I don’t know how long the princeton review is, but I think I heard it was like a 10 week program. THAT IS NOT ENOUGH. You need to be all over the SATs like white on rice for at least a year if you want a really really high score, like 2100.

Otherwise, don’t even bother. But since you’re only 14, it’s ok, you have time. Don’t stress out. THE PSATs are BULL CRAP. Colleges don’t recognize it, so just wing it. But start looking into taking a year long prep class and take the October SAT next year.

PSAT lol.. Your a sophomore so its ok. Don’t panic.

First on your list, at least try to do the PSAT. It doesn’t matter. Only you and your parents are going to look at your PSAT score.

Second, after you get your score back sometime in mid november or december, this score will determine how much you will need to study. If your score is just absolutely atrocious, go to Barnes and Noble, get either Sparknotes, Barrons, or Princeton Review, and start going at it. If you cannot concentrate at home and its just too hard, go sign up for an SAT class. Don’t be inferior because all these asians are in your SAT class lmao. Just do your time, and listen and you will do fine.

Your taking geometry this year. This means that you will be nearly screwed for the math part. There are a few questions on the SAT where Algebra 2 is needed. So do your best.

Vocabulary. I know it seems so unreliable, but google SAT Vocabulary List and it will give you a huge list. Start making note cards and stuff.

Good Luck.
