Practice ! Practice everyday for an hour atleast. Thats the minimum you should do to keep up your standard. If your standard is little low, say a 70/100, then you better practice for two – three hours straight. This works wonders. Trust me.

If you do this with sincerity and concentration, I can assure you of a 90+ (atleast… this would be the minimum mark you get) in math.

Without practicing everyday, and doing all the work before the exam, is no good at all. On the day of the exam you are bound to feel muddled and confused. And for math especially, you ought to have a clear head when you start. So make sure you get plenty of sleep before the exam and keep your confidence levels up.

If you’ve practiced enough, your confidence will automatically increase. Follow these steps when you practice.

1) Do not spend too much time on stuff you know already or find pretty easy.

2) Tackle your weak areas – thats of primary importance.

3) Also understand the mark allotment for each chapter and spend time likewise, after you are somewhat thorough with all the concepts.

4) Time yourself. A 1 mark question cannot take more than 1 min. to answer.

5) Do not skip steps when you practice. Theres more chance of error, when you do. After you are thorough, you can skip steps. Then again, when you are timing, do not. Most problems give lot of weightage to the steps more than the final answer.

6) Finally. PRACTICE! Nothing makes up for this. No amount of yahoo’s answers or your questions will help πŸ™‚

All The Best !!!
