Tickle IQ Test?

Do you think it is accurate? I am 14 years old and recently took the Tickle IQ test. It put me at 130. Because I’m younger, do you think I am actually smarter than 130? xD

By the way, I am in an advanced program (and writing a book) , so I like to think that I am, to a degree, “smart”.

tickle does not use standard norming procedures and is therefore an invalid test.

If anyone wants to debate this: please give the alpha coefficient for the test and provide the validity procedures the test uses.

All on-line tests are for “entertainment purposes only” and should never be used as a true indication of your overall ability.

A true I.Q. test (e.g., WISC-IV) compares your raw scores with same-aged people the test was normed on, so your age and number does not mean you are “smarter” – you are just better than your same-aged peers.

But, hey, at least the test is fun. My cat received an I.Q. score of 134 on the test, which of course just means that randomly selected answers were used and a “high” score was remarkably given.

no, i don’t think that it is actually higher as you give your age during the test so they use that as part of the analysis – this test obviously gives people higher ones to make them more likely to buy the report – i had mine done at a psychological centre when i was your age and i got 119 whereas i have just scored 133 on the tickle test. i know which one i would consider more accurate. so you are prob about 117-8, which is still high, apparently the average iq of a doctor is about 120
