Just by doing homework is sometimes not enough. i used to do very bad in my tests too, but one day I found my study technique.

You have to understand the concept. There is a difference between doing your homework and understanding your homework concepts.

There are books on how to take tests. Read a few. But basically read the questions carefully, don’t overthink the questions, go over your choices and don’t change anything unless you are positive. Usually when you go back over you start to overthink what they are asking for and you come up with all the exceptions that make the right answer wrong. If you don’t know pick the most complex answer, the longest answer or c. Ask whether it’s wrong answers subtracted from the right ones-so don’t guess too much. Tests are usually pretty interesting. They give you insight into the professor and just how much time they spend preparing. And then there are those professors that use the questions from the test banks. In economics, I wasn’t sure I had read the right book. Thank Goodness I had read the study guide that went with the book. Most of the questions were from there and not discussed in class-and it was one of those really difficult classes anyhow. I got the only A and was extremely proud of it. I guess what I was saying is that questions come from everywhere. My algebra teacher used to take either the second to last or last problem from the chapter (not assigned) and put it on the test. You just have to figure out where the questions are coming from.
