Should I take the SAT Reasoning Test for a third and final time this October?
I’m asking because according to the Collegeboard website, the earliest date to take the SAT Reasoning Test is October 6, 2007. The second time I took the test, I got an 1880. I’d like to get a higher score, but hopefully this wouldn’t be too late for college applications? (scores would begin mailing November 2)

no, this isn’t too late at all! are you doing early decision or action? cause that would be the only reason you should get your scores in as early as november. all other deadlines are in january or december…
but like the person above me, if you’re trying to get into a college who’s scores are higher than yours, consider the subject test for october – as i will.

Depends on where you want to go to college.
Does your school require SAT subject tests? If so, you’d better take those.
Do you believe you can get a better score? Take it again if you think so, although October has a more difficult curve.

1880 is adequate enough for most normal colleges. unless youre trying to get into a private or an ivy league, i dont see why go for another 3 hours of hateful stress.

Umm i think you should definitely apply for spring, b/c you should’ve taken the sats a year ago.
