SAT Scoring?

When applying for college, they all have a score at which applicants are accepted. This is a single number. But when you take the SAT you get three numbers.

So is your SAT score all of these numbers added together, or is it an average?

In reality, this number you speak of does not exist. Colleges accept based on many factors, including SAT’s. If a student has a lot going for him/her, the SAT score could be disgustingly low, and he/she would still get in.

If it were to exist, it would be the total of all 3.

If they’re just giving one number, then it’s added together. Some schools break it down into their requirements for the specific subtests.
