SAT’s for community college student transfering to a 4 year?

I’m a senior in high school right now. My grades are really good… mainly A’s and B’s in all classes. However, I’m terrible at standardized tests. So I wasn’t planning on taking the SAT’s (Took the PSAT’s and failed miserably).

I was planning on starting out in a 2 year (community) college and transferring to a 4 year. When I transfer, would I need SAT’s to get in? My sister told me I wouldn’t have to, but I wanted to make sure.

Thanks to whoever answers =)

Not usually but it kind of just depends on the school. Just go online and check around at the schools you are interested in.

I didn’t need them for mine. However, if you don’t have your SATs, they will use your current GPA from the community college, so I would suggest keeping that as high as possible so you can be sure you are accepted to the 4 year.

Going to a 2-twelve months college will shop you lots on training costs. you additionally can get the must haves out of ways so as quickly as you circulate on your 4-twelve months college once you are able to take the learning meant to your significant. the properly suited clarification why human beings want going to a 2-twelve months college is so they might sign in for an contract to a 4-twelve months college of their decision (different than for ivies). in case you get rejected on your dream college from severe college, you have yet another attempt on an identical college while your in community college. The cons besides the shown fact that are which you will omit your first 2 years dorming. different than that, the advantages outweigh the cons so going to a community college may well be a sturdy ingredient! wish this helps =)
