SAT…HELp!!?
Anyone who helps is much appreciated. I’m going to be a sophomore next year so the SAT is coming up, well at least PSAT. I get straight A’s in the hardest school but I’m kinda the type of person that is really good at getting a good GPA and not so good on real important tests. I wanna do as much as I can this summer to prepare for the SAT. I have 500 SAT vocab flashcards, and both the college board 10 real SAT book and the Barrons one for verbal. I know I can memorize all the SAT and both books before school starts, but I don’t know how much it’ll help me. Sometimes I hear that doing the small things help the most on the SAT. I need a 2200… I know there’s plenty of people out there on y answers who got that score or better. It would be greatly appreciated if u tell me how u got it or ur secret for success. What is key for success on SAT, great vocab? reading comprehension? superb grammer? Good calculator? Are there any tricks? like I know about the one where u shouldn’t guess.

The trick is to go through the prep books as thoroughly as you can manage. Learn all the tricks written and know when and where to apply them.
Then the ball is in your court. play it well by practicing till it hurts!! read everything you can find – that’s just for speeding up your reading , you need to be a fast reader but as you read fast , also understand what you read.
if you’re good in math, then count your blessings! but practice all the same though.
vocabs will finf their place in MCQ’s and reading passages so it benefits one to learn as much new words,
just relax and do your best, since you’re already a sraight A student, it might come easily for you!! lucks!!

Just chill out and recognize that you’re SMART! Clearly you have got brains in the event you completed such satisfactory grades. I would not be too concerned considering the fact that you’re most likely very ready incidentally you driven your self in prime college. I’m certain you’ll be able to be nice. Don’t pressure too unhealthy even though you probably did ought to retake it you could be nice, however I’m certain that would possibly not occur!

my tip is to stop worrying about it!!! i didnt study and i got a 1590 (back when the test was max at 1600…. in 2004)…. also there are plenty of chances for you to retake the test before college apps are due… they offer like 6 tests a year… so if you do bad on the first one its not then end of the world…. just retake it and you can also see if you can have the fees waived so you dont have to keep paying to retake the test

Here’s a tip. Don’t worry about it. You can’t really study for it. You either know it or you don’t.
