PSAT scores?

What are good PSAT scores? My critical reading was 48, my math was 46, and my writing skills was 51. My total percentile was 54. I scroed higher than 50% of the other juniors on all 3. Are these good scores? How should I prepare for my SAT?

Well how old were you when you took the PSAT? I took it last year in 9th grade and I got:

Critical Reading: 55

Mathematics: 60

Writing: 51

Percentile: 77

I can’t really tell you whether your score is “good” or not unless I know how old you were when you took it.

There are a bunch of websites or classes you can go to to prepare for your SAT! Sylvan Learning Centers offer ACT/SAT prep, or you could just Google and look for yourself.

you should take a review class that goes over vocabulary and reading skills my teacher stated that whatever you get on your psat is what your going to get on your real sat so in your case if your looking to get into a good school you should up your reading and math i regret not studying before i took that test

You answered your own question. You scored higher than 50% of other juniors, meaning you are above average.

Purchase either the kaplan or princeton review prep books. Either that or enroll in their classes.
