As Coolxblue stated with your wife already having her degree she will not be eligible for the Pell grant. You wife might as well declare her self a physical science major so she will be eligible for financial aide. To get full financial aid she will have to take 12 hours to be considered full time (this would be a good time to take one of those fun courses she has always wanted to take). She would be eligible for the Stafford Loan and maybe the Perkins loan both of these are federal programs. Also talk to an adviser at the vet school and see what additional assistance she maybe eligible for. In Oklahoma we have the OTAG (Oklahoma Tuition Assistance Grant) which is $500 a semester. So your state may have something like that. There still may be some scholarships she is eligible for but timing is important and if she is planning to start in the fall it maybe to late for her to get any financial aid but it never hurts to ask. Your wife could go talk to the financial aid officer at the college she is planning to attend and they should be able to give her the information she will need.
Hope this helps

It sounds like your wife will be considered a non matriculating student ( a student who is not seeking a specified degree). With your wife already having a degree, she will be ineligible for federal grants ( I am assuming that you mean she already has a Bachelors). There are private loans out there for non matriculating students. They are usually called “ continuing ed loans” and will be on a companies website to be marketed at these types of students.

I’d figure it depends on the school and the state you live in..
otherwise, we can’t really give you a totally correct answer..
Try for the Pell Grant, and, if in Georgia, the Hope Scholarship.
