My SAT score is horrible…?

It’s in the 1500-1600 range. Is there any way I can bring it up to a 2200 by the time I take it in June?

Getting a 2200 seems practically impossible for you, but if you take a lot of practice tests and study vocabulary, you might be able to get it up to a 1900 or even 2000.

Well, the good news if you’ve given yourself plenty of time to meet that goal. The bad news it that your shooting for a range that takes a lot of work and a very solid educational foundation to reach, only 5% of people get that type of score (if that much).

Look over your results, what were the weak areas? Math? Reading comp? Try to focus very hard on the areas in the next few months…don’t shy away from studying them in class or homework assignments that deal with the issue. If you want a 2200, your going to have to know your stuff really well, and that takes work. Study lots, work harder, and you should be able to bring it up, if not to 2200 to something more reasonable like 1900 or 2000. Good luck!

Buy a SAT book and take a SAT prep class. I know my school offered it for pretty cheap. The class really just tells you how to take the test, like what to expect and how to find the most right answer, stuff like that. The really important thing to do though is to study, and that’s where an SAT prep book will come in handy. I think that studying the vocab is a good idea because that will be sorta easier to improve and really help your score. Good luck.

well just study the portions that you did bad on. the SATs take the highest score from each portion and that is your final SAT score. The more you take it- you are bound for a higher score. so if the 1st time you get M- 450 R-500 W-550

and then on the second time you get M-400 R-550 W-600

you would take the M450 R550 W600 and that would be your final score of a 1600

so i suggest study as much as you can for what you know you can improve on and then retake the test. get plenty of rest and good lucj

confident, you are able to take the SAT as many circumstances as you desire. yet, it relatively is named a REASONING try for a reason.. that is meant to aim your reasoning skills, no longer your know-how, so which you at the instant are not meant to benefit for it. i’m sorry to interrupt it to you, yet no count what number circumstances you’re taking it, you will probable save getting with reference to the comparable score – once you get the in-intensity score prognosis interior the mail, it may desire to have information approximately 2d time tester’s scores, and the first public do the comparable or worse. The try is relatively precise. Taking it persistently won’t likely help.

Maybe. I heard the more you take those tests the better you do because you get used to how the tests are. Just take it like 3 or 4 more times. I bet your score improves.

No way. 2200 is a really great score that few people can manage, that would be a huge jump from your current score and is virtually impossible. You generally can’t really raise your score more than a couple hundred points. That;s just the way it works.

Hire a company that specializes in preparing people to take the test. If that is not possible then maybe you can find a book in a book store like Barns & Noble or Boarders.

Good luck.
