My kid takes an exam at school and gets every question right.?

but the teacher awards her 95% on each section of the six subjects. I can’t understand why she wasn’t awarded 100%.

I thought I’d better get opinions before going to see the teacher with my dander up.

I had a teacher when I was in middle school that would never give a 100% because he believed that no one was ever perfect; the highest grade he would give was a 99%.

Ask your child’s teacher to see what her reasoning is. If this is really upsetting your child, let the teacher know.

If there are no remarks about penmanship or partial answers then the reason is something in the teachers mind. Don’t ask me to explain human thought process after the problems we had with one teacher that was totally unreal. I would request a councelling session with the principal and the teacher. Keep your cool!! Yes they are paid employees through taxes, yes they are there to encourage and teach the children, but they have bad days like the rest of us. Some have higher expectations than the child can produce and sometimes need to be reminded. Is this the first time such has happened or has there been other incidents that were leading up to it?

It’s called overly politically correct. You can do a good job….just not an excellent one. They wouldn’t want your daughter to make the other kids feel bad for being less intelligent now would they?

This kind of thing is happening all over the place – academics, sports, the job place. There is no more competition…fair is fair and equal is equal.

And it’s all BS!
