Is this a good score for my first ACT?
Composite Score: 21
English: 17
Mathematics: 25
Reading: 18
Science: 22
I already got a 1385 on my first SAT and i’m taking it again. Do you think i will be able to make it to a good college.

A 21 will get you into most state schools, I think, though you may want to raise it to a 22 or 23. It was my understanding when I first took it, and got a 22 (so, so long ago), that 22 was a little below what would get me into most schools. If you take it again, especially if you study for the English and the reading a bit, I’m sure you can do better.
A strictly GOOD score would be over 23 or so. π
Good Luck π
Just remember not to stress too much- regardless of what your guidance counselor is telling you to scare you, most colleges look at the overall composite of a prospective student- grades, scores, essay- and not just the scores. Ivy League schools are more picky about scores, naturally, but you can get just as good of an education-and a much cheaper one- at a State U. π
You are really good at math and science though (my weakest points). Wanna switch?
