Is the IQ of 93 low?
Favorite Answer
It is your intelligence-age divided by your age.
For example, if you are 20 years old, but you are as smart as a 30 year old, your IQ would be 30/20 = 150.
If you are 15 and you are as smart as a 15 year old, your IQ is 15/15 = 100.
As you can see, IQ is not a good measure of intelligence because it assumes that you get smarter as you age, which may not be the case.
Your IQ of 93 means that you are slightly below the average person of your age.
But don’t take the IQ test seriously, I consider it obsolete. Plus, those online tests aren’t reliable at all.
If having a higher IQ test score makes you feel better, try to study and improve on areas you felt you didnt quite understand. As IQ scores will fluctuate as you advance through your education and will most likely decline after finishing college.
I would recommend you take an actual IQ, which is given verbally by a test proctor. Those online ones are to brief to size up your IQ and probably don’t use any of the standard methods.
93 is supposed to be below average.
