Is it illegal to be registered by a school by a preffered name instead of your birth name?
Im going to a new school and I wanted to know if you can be registered by a school by your preffered name becuase I hate my birth name Im legally changing my name but I just started and school startes in a week and a half everyone just calls me by my middle name my first name isnt used in my family so can I get the school to do this or is there some kind of law against this?

You can give/use officially your change of name later after you get it legally certified from an lawyer, your parents must sign the stamp paper.

it kind of is. if i were you, what i would do is register by your birth name but have your teachers call you by ur preferred name. they can put a little note next to yer name on the attendance sheet. if your teachers agree to it, your classmates will catch on as well.
not putting your real name can end up as a problem. my friends brother did that once because his real name is jullian but he likes to have everyone call him Miles, so thats wat they put. their insurance company stopped giving the kid insurance! they thought he was a fake. so then they had to get things starightened out and stuff.

just use your legal name that you parents gave you and then change it later….. wow.
