in nj is this true on the psat??
they deduct points if you get the answer wrong- in other words you shouldn’t take a guess. only answer if you’re positive?

i know on the SAT’s that they deduct 1/4 of point for every answer that you get wrong and decust no points if you leave it blank..so if youre really unsure i dont think you should make a random guess..oh and you get one point for every question you get right
since its the pre-SAT, i think that theyll treat it the same way

for any multiple choice question, you get 1/4 point taken off if you get it wrong. for the math fill-ins, there is not penalty for a wrong answer. so generally guess if you can eliminate 1 answer.
