the point is not about the accuracy of that test, but, it is about the reliability of IQ tests on general. You can not abbreviate the intelligence by a single number. Researchers and scientists are working on figuring out the relation between emotions and intelligence, and how they are associated with each other.

In short, IQ tests are good indicators but you can not count on them. Online ones are fine just like the others.

Online IQ tests are generally good predictors of how you’d do on an administered IQ test. People have differing opinions about what typesof intelligence they measure and what types they may miss. But an IQ score of 90 puts you in the 2/3 of the population considered “average” in IQ terms. Here’s a link to a longer article on IQ measurement if you’re interested:

They are not very accurate for the most part- I have scored 20 points lower on online IQ tests than on an official IQ test.

Additionally, the calculation for IQ is no longer mental age/actual age * 100, it is now calculated by your raw score on the test as compared to raw scores of other people your age. Online IQ tests don’t actually compute scores by this method but rather by a scaled raw score (usually).

I don’t know about the accuracy of those online tests (they are supposedly extremely inaccurate) but it’s kinda funny to think that your mental age is lower than your physical age…

Figuring out IQ:

(Mental Age/Physical Age)*100
