Although an IQ of 95 is 5 less than the societal average, just because you got a 95 doesn’t mean your IQ is actually a 95…For example, some people can score really high on IQ tests b/c they have been exposed to the types of questions that are asked. Others do poorly when they know their intelligence is being questioned or if they are being timed.

Also, dyslexia doesn’t mean your IQ is low. So don’t be discouraged. In fact, the very fact that you are so concerened about your intelligence and posted a question about it suggests that you are a smart person.

After nearly 10 of my 19 years of life researching into IQ tests, I have come to the conclusion that IQ tests are very poor indicators of intelligence. Intelligence is too broad a quality, the brain too complex an organ to be defined by a simple list of general questions.

Many questions in such tests will involve specific information which is knowledge after experience, or empirical knowledge, involving the five senses. If a blind or a deaf person has a question and involves a sound or a colour which they can’t answer correctly but someone of equal intelligence with all five senses can, does that make them more intelligent?

I came to the conclusion when I did two IQ tests in a row, first of all the Mensa test then secondly the BBC IQ test on the Internet some time ago. On the first it said my IQ was 147, on the second it said I was 97.

You need to ask yourself, if you score high or low on these tests, whether it means you are smart or not or if it means if you’re simply good or bad at IQ tests.

Your score puts you in the average range. If you had to read the test and you are dyslexic, yes, it would affect your results. However, if this is a test you did on the internet it is not a real IQ test. You don’t have to read a real IQ test. A real one is one you would do with a counselor or psychologist, and that person would do all the reading.

IQ easily would not exchange over the years, your IQ is probably to proceed to be someplace between seventy 5 and ninety for the remainder of your life. As suggested by using others it truly is a sprint on the low end, the properly-known IQ is ninety-a hundred and ten or a hundred. the forged information for you is that your IQ won’t truly impression your life (it truly is unlike once you flow stick to to colleges you would be requested your IQ). the sole time I actual have seen IQ impression peoples lives is for my faculties honor application, which demands you have a one hundred twenty IQ to be in it.

Yes. It is bad. But you spelled all the words in your question correctly, so the test might have been flawed.
