I usually dont look at ppls faces, just right above their heads making my around the room so it looks like im still adressing them.
Good luck! youll do fine!
When it actually comes to speech day, focus on one point in the room at the beginning of your speech, but not so much that you look like you’re staring. Remember to breath, and when you get your rhythm, start giving eye contact your audience members. To hide stage fright, varying your pitch, between normal voice, to loud, to soft, to make your speech interesting, and keep your audience awake.
I hope this helps. Don’t worry, you’ll do fine!
just like your practicing in your room or something.
I get nervous too and people are always going to look at you but you just have to not care what they think because that does not matter at all.
I’m the same way but when it comes to grades I don’t care what people think because I don’t want to fail an important assignment because of something stupid.
just think about the grade your going to get if you don’t do your speech in English class just cuz your’e nervous
–Practice in front of a mirror so you can see your facial expression.
–Remember that no one else knows just how your speech should go, so even if you have a glitch of any kind, act as if it were totally planned.
–If you look just barely over the heads of the students on the back row, you will still appear to make eye contact. You will look as if you are confident.
