you should. I was going to get mine at 15 but my dad wanted that diploma. so I had to wait until I was 17.

I’m sure if you pass the test you can get it, but as someone else said, if you ever want to get a job it looks so much better to finish high school! If it’s only one more year, you definitely should finish! It looks better then a GED because some people who take the GED are dropouts.

A diploma is much better than a GED. So keep that in mind, and just stick it out for another year.
However…legally you can take the GED whenever you want. Just gotta pass it of course. But there’s no advantage to having a GED AND a diploma, thats pointless. One or the other.

Why would you want to settle for something so inferior? A regular high school diploma is so much better for you?
You can ask in your school for the requirements to take the examination since they are different in every sate.

GED, is an equivalency for those that did not receive a H.S. diploma. It would only make sense to take, if you do not plan to graduate.
