This depends on the state you live in. Generally, you should find out what the “content” of the test involves. For example, will you be tested on algebra only, or other strands of math too? Also, will you need to write an essay? I would think that your high school would have resources to help you prepare – ask them in the Counseling Department, OR in the English or Math departments. Our school actually has intervention classes as well as after school tutoring to help students.

In California, our state Department of Edcuation (CDE) publishes Study Guides that explain EXACTLY what will be on each test of the Californnia High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE), along with some sample test questions to help you practice. The same website has links to LOTS of questions that were asked on prior exams, so you can have a very good idea of what to expect. These are at:

http://www.cde.ca.gov/ta/tg/hs/resources.asp

Scroll down to Study Guides or Released Test Questions, and then click on the subject area you want to practice. You can print these out too if you need to.

there is definitely no longer something you may desire to do to prepare your self for that. Even my superb pal who wasnt fluent in english at that factor exceeded it. each and every individual in my type (granted that is IB) exceeded, maximum of which with one hundred% in the two matters. Dont rigidity your self over it.
