Just tell them! Trust me, I know from experience that if u lie or give an excuse they will just yell at u more! Talk to them about ways u can raisse the grade, this isn’t for show, you should actually use the ideas you talked about. It may be annoying, but a liottle goes a long way, and always remember, you don’t have to go for As! I myself have a B plus average and I’m fine with that!

Tell them exactly what happened, nothing changed and don’t leave out one detail. I did that once and my parents were stunned that I actually told on myself and i did get in much trouble.
