Can a senior take the PSAT?

So My teacher just informed me if i want to take the PSAT i need to take it next week… uhm it would’ve been good to have some time to study! Ive heard if i go to a junior college first university’s are less likely to look at PSAT scores… i feel a little blind in this situation… can anyone enlighten me

If you are a senior, you need to be taking the SAT, not the PSAT.

The PSAT is a practice SAT, but for juniors it can qualify them for the National Merit program.

As a senior, your PSAT scores won’t really count for anything. You could take it just for the practice value, but that is all it would be.
