ACT Question!!!?
Does anyone know what the difference between just the basic ACT test and the ACT Writing Test? Which would be better to take and why? Please help me as soon as possible! Thanks!!!

The ACT writing test includes the basic ACT test + a 45 minute writing section (1 essay).
Some schools require the writing section. If a school you are applying to requires it, take it!
The composite score (the score you hear that people got between 1-36) is not effected by the writing section, so if you are a good writer or better, I would recommend taking it.

Some colleges require that you take the ACT writing while some colleges don’t. A main reason why you should take the ACT writing test is because it can boost your overall score.

You should take the basic ACT test. That tests you on most everything, whereas the writing test is only writing.
