What are the requirements to open a respite or workshop for the developmentally disabled in MI?
I am looking into starting a respite or workshop to help people with developmental disabilities develop necessary life skills. I can’t find the guidelines in the Michigan state website. Does anyone know where I may be able to obtain this information?

Try contacting your local ARC (Association for Retarded Citizens) chapter.

Hi, I want to see the same type of thing started in CA for people with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
I noticed a place called Vista Vocational on the internet, so I wrote them & asked how they started their place. Maybe you could do the same.

Please define developmental disabilities? That term hasn’t reached the UK yet. Do you mean intellectually challenged or differently-abled
