Information On Schools for Education Regarding Special Education Law?
I am Looking at different options for a career in special education helping the mentaly challenged / disabled childering in school . Becoming A Attorney for special education has crossed my mind as well as others but does anybody know where i can recieve more information on Doing so & what schools would be good for me to attend in order to earn a degree in special education law. i am from mass any schools would be good but if you can lean more towards NY. MASS. CT . RI & other nearby states please let me know

You question really doesn’t belong in either category. Being from the west coast, I don’t know the schools in your part of the country. However, in law school you learn about all the laws, not a specialty in special education law. Find a school in your area that offers a bachelor or masters degree in special education, look at the class selections and you will find a class on special ed law.
You can also purchase a copy of the current reauthorized IDEA from the government. That contains all the laws relating to the education of students with disabilities.

I graduated from Wheelock College in Boston with my M.S. in Special Education. It was a fantastic program! At the time (1998) the program was called TSSN (Teacher of Students with Special Needs). Look into it. I’ve worked in the field for almost ten years and was very well educated and trained through this program. Good luck.
