What about different places around the world? Like old buildings that seem to still stand the test of time….

You can write about what you want to do with your life someday.

thats two random ideas…

If there is no limitation on subject or style, absolutely anything could be a subject! One page really isn’t very long.

For example, I have an incredibly messy computer desk. I could do a humorous piece describing it, or a cutesie piece describing the baby mouse that visited the desk one chilly day and went to sleep on the warm USB hub. I could write an analysis (straight or semi-humorous) of the effects on my work of such a mess. I could plan a logical way to deal with the problem, or analyse the mental process that leads to such disorganization. I might even write a piece of fiction about someone trying to cope with the situation. That’s over 100 words right there and I haven’t described the mess at all.

Try examining your world in more detail – instead of saying “I like to read,” do a review of a book you read recently. Instead of saying “Homelessness is a problem,” describe homeless people you have seen, or explain why it is so hard to solve the problem. Instead of listing your family members, do a character sketch of one of them, or contrast and compare a couple of them. Explain, with examples, why your best friend is your friend. Go for a half-hour walk and describe the signs you see of changing seasons. If you had a $500 budget, how would you redecorate your room? Google “hobbies” and report on one you’d never thought of. Write instructions for a Martian on how to do some everyday thing. Describe a small space so that an artist could draw it. Explain why you like or dislike a school subject – give specific examples.

And be glad you’re only asked for 250 words in English! When I was in university, I had a prof who assigned 500 to 1000 lines a week in Latin drama with a thousand-word commentary.

OK. i have the same problem as your but i have one due every other day. I would write about global warming for one thing. I would also go to google.com and i would type in world news. I get most of my articles from there. I would also write about sports, a pet, someone special to you, an embarrassing event, a scary event, a funny time in your life. Uhm…. you can also write about your family, your friends, or Even a favorite food. Also books are very good resources. Interviewing a friend is also good.

well good luck with your reports =]

go to a local park and describe scenery

describe the mall (the fact that there are a lot of people–who generally ignore each other)

what kind of trees grow in your back yard

what kind of birds do you see, hear?

describe your neigborhood – is it rich and quiet, poor and noisy, average income,

write a fiction – but say it is so (you know creative writing)
