I really liked your video; it shows how much you care about your son and how invested in him you are. I also like “autism is not an illness”. Many adults with autism are saying the same thing.

I liked that he was often smiling!

It looks like he is getting his sensory needs met, b/c he was engaging in lots of school activities!

You should be proud of him and you!

Wow – I feel the love you not only put into this video, but the love for your son. It would go to send to TV stations, autism organizations to help get the knowledge out there. The song is good, and the graphics — I would suggest maybe putting some pictures of him on those “not so good days” and maybe end with a picture of him smiling looking up at the camera.

Thomas has a special Mom and I wish you and your family many beautiful blessings.

Wow! Your son Thomas is very engaging for a person with Autism and I find you and him very fortunate for that. I happen to have the other end of the spectrum of Autism called Asperger’s. I would just like to say not enough can be said about ‘sensory overload’, where an Autistic person can melt down because they can’t decipher all the sights and sounds coming their way.

In addition, it is an everyday struggle for those who care for Autistic/Asperger’s children to get them to break from out of their world and engage the greater world. For this we truly are thankful, though we might not seem to appreciate it through our fits or non compliance. But the efforts made really are a gift to us.

Thank you all:)

I think you made a nice video. As a parent of a son on the spectrum, and a teacher of severely autistic children, I know how difficult it is to get a child to look at the camera and smile. That is a great accomplishment. I also liked how you filmed your son in different locations and accomplishing various activities. You were able to focus on positives! A child with autism doesn’t have to stay at home and can have fun. Great Job!

OMG I am crying seeing it. My son has high functioning autism and these vidoes of kids being kids is exactly what we need to show people that folks with autism do the same things other kids do just in a different way. Check out Marty Murphy’s you tube video on autism. It is the best 9 minutes of your life.

hello. i think the video is great, i think more people need to know about autism. i have a 3 year old son who was diagnosed with autsm 6 months ago, and the looks and comments that get made to me and my son when we go out is terrible, little things like posting videos online helps promote this disability.

i think your son is adorable and he looks as though he enjoys his school very much.

lol maybe you could give me some tips to help with my son as i really don’t know much at the moment.

“it incredibly is in basic terms a narrative; it is not genuine. do no longer pay them any interest, pal.” guy has been predicting the tip of the international via fact the initiating of the international. There are web pages committed to exposing all the hoaxes for the duration of the years… if he’s particularly worried, possibly pull up a time line and coach him all of the different circumstances the international became meant to end and it did no longer. If all else fails, pull out the believe card. 8 years previous remains youthful adequate to have self belief each and every little thing Mum says… “howdy, i comprehend it form of sounds like a frightening situation, yet i’m Mum, and that i comprehend each and every little thing. So if I allow you to comprehend it incredibly is in basic terms a narrative, then you definately’ve have been given to believe me that it incredibly is in basic terms a narrative, ok dude?” My oldest is 7, and that’s in many circumstances the way it incredibly works in our homestead; if Mum’s no longer frightened, then they comprehend they do no longer would desire to be frightened.

It was mesmerizing. Difficult not to pay attention to the graphics and music. 🙂

You chose some happy pictures of your son, showed him doing quite normal things. The overall message along with the content of the video are very positive. Thank you for sharing this.

I think that the video was great. I also have a son that is Autistic. He is six years old. He is non verbal. I used to always wonder why??? I have an aunt that told me that God gives his special babies to people that he knows can care for them the way they need to be cared for… and I now know why God gave me my little Justin… I know that it could be a whole lot worse than it is. He could have cancer, or anything!!! Just count your blessings everyday. And pray for a cure…
