i’m not so sure i would say autism can be improved. autism is rated on what is called the autism spectrum. some of these disorders are known as non-autistic pervasive developmental disorders. autism cannot be “fixed” autism cannot be “cured.” AUTISM CAN BE LIVED WITH. some people with autism will become highly functional. they will be able to talk, hold conversations, read, write, do math. they will be very smart and get good jobs. it may take longer when they are young to teach them to talk, though. people with autism will have issues with social situations. they won’t make eye contact when they talk. they may not want hugs or kisses from anybody, including parents. it becomes more apparent in middle school when girls and boys start “liking each other” and hinting at it. students will become very uncomfortable in these situations, especially if another student makes such a comment about the person with autism.

speech therapy and counseling from a social worker or counselor will be very helpful for students with autism. they will learn to identify certain facial expressions. they will need a lot of help identifying emotions and learning words for them.

JUST BECAUSE YOUR CHILD IS DIAGNOSED WITHIN THE AUTISM SPECTRUM DOES NOT MEAN THAT HE OR SHE WILL BE SUPER LOW FUNCTIONING OR THAT THERE IS NO HOPE. AUTISM IS NOT A CURSE, IT IS JUST A DIFFERENT WAY OF LIVING.

Of course it can be improved! There are any number of therapies that help improve autistics’ conditions. If you are going to post a question, than at least be thorough enough that we can understand what you are talking about.

Of course it can improve – with age and therapy! I highly doubt that there is a major difference within two months time, however!

Yet another interesting and pointless question. What is HP 9794-9049? Thanks for the free points.
