Any errors on my persuasive essay?I know there’s a problem with the organizing or structure so help me please
In Japan, school lunches are healthier than here in America. In Japan, they have vegetables, rice, meat, and soup. They calculate the ingredients that are in the food, and then they serve. They have different kinds of food everyday; unlike ours we pretty much have the same food everyday. They have about 1 hour of lunch period, so they can take time eating, not rushing. In America, we have about 30 minutes of lunch period and during that time students sometimes do not have time to finish their food because of the long line.
I know that some people bring in lunch because they do not believe that the foods that are served are healthy or they do not like the food that they serve. If serving junk food in school cafeterias continues, it will continue to cause problems to a lot of people, like obesity. I know some people do not care, but we should do something to change cafeteria food to give people a healthier choice.

You shouldn’t use first person in an essay (“you” “we” “I” “our”, etc.)
Don’t use contractions, spell the word out.
Don’t use the work “like” (you said “…causes problems to a lot of people, like obesity.”) Instead, say “for instance, obesity” or something similar.
Do not use “they” unless you used a noun for “they” to replace. For example, you said “In Japan,” then in the next sentence, “they.” You should say “the Japanese.” Don’t use they if the noun is singular, either. For example, if a gender is unknown, you might want to say “they” because it can either be male or female. But, it is wrong. “They” is plural. You should say “he” or “she” even if a gender is unspecified.
You have some great ideas, you just need to do some serious editing. =)
Anyway, the link below has definitions of what you said you need to have in your essay (rhetorical question, etc.).

This link is about parallelism. I know sometimes parallelism can be confusing.
