It’s kind of like “Two wrongs don’t make a right.” Being evil is wrong, even if it’s to resist another evil.
Being good is always the best approach.
The prophet Mohammed is the man credited with starting the Islamic faith. He supposedly was prophetically given the information to write the Koran, the Muslim holy text.
Too bad ALL Muslims don’t follow the message of this quote.

If you are mugged, and you help the police find the guy and get him off the streets, or even help the guy find a way to get out of his life of crime, you have overcome evil with good. If you buy a gun, track the guy down, and blow him away, you have tried to overcome evil, but what you have done is even more evil.
You have never heard of the prophet Mohammed? He started the religion of Islam, the followers of which are called Muslims–roughly 20% of the people on Earth.

Watch out, infidel killing Muslims don’t take kindly to girls without a blanket over their heads dissing the man that founded Islam. The meaning is self evident and it is not a bad saying as sayings go. However, keep in mind that Mohamed and his followers went around on horseback kicking butt and taking names of the infidels. The infidels were anyone who did not believe like they did.

The way I see it is that say you are nice to someone mean until they are nice to you is good. But to defend yourself by being mean like they are is bad.
And it can fit more situations than that but that is one example. Thats the way I see it anyway.
