what is the best way to summarize something you just dont understand?
i have an article which i dont understand at all. it seems that it was written so that only certain people could understand it but i still have to outline it. what is the best way?

get a dictionary. The whole point of making someone outline something is to be sure they understand it. look up the words you don’t understand and you’ll be good to go. Try an online dictionary to save time.

is this ingredient that tough to summarize? LOL that is basically somewhat approximately how the flood that hit the area has a unfavorable impact on farmers. Farmers are dropping vegetation. What does this propose? they’re dropping money dur dur dur. “POTATO growers interior the fertile Kooweerup farming district have been smashed by using the weekend’s deluge and flooding, with estimates that as much as ninety in step with cent of community potato vegetation would desire to be lost.” Summarized it with basically that sentence.

Basically, restate the first sentence of each paragraph. Just change up a few words. These will be your I, II, III, etc. Then take two facts from each paragraph and these will be your A, B, C etc. You are really just restating what they said, so even if you don’t understand it, you can put it down. I hope this makes sense!

Break it apart in such a way that you can try to make out what each and every sentence means. So basically just like write down what sentence one means then two…so on. Then put it together like an article so its just the article….in your words.

if you’re a highschool or elementary student, you can always tell the teacher you didn’t understand (and in this case, outline another section/chapter). if you HAVE to do it, just rephrase things.. but still tell her you don’t get it. she will help you after class.. this is what they get paid for 🙂

easy ..
type it up on microsoft work or copy and paste it on microsoft word.
then click tools and i think you have to click it like twice.. then click sumarize, and lastly choose how you want it summarized, i recommend for you to click highlight because then the computer automatically highlights the important info.

Ask if your friends or family members understood it or not. If it is asked by your teacher, maybe you can ask for some guidance.
