It means that the more powerful you are, the more obligations/responsibilities you have. An example: a lowly McDonalds grunt has no power and is only responsible for himself and perhaps his family. The president of McDonalds is responsible for thousands of employees, shareholders, and consumers.

For me it means that very often people forget one essential thing – having gained power to rule over others they forget their responsibilities for them. Power must go together with responsibility.

If you have something no one else has, use it wisely, don’t show it off. That will only conclude in bad problems. Like in Spider-Man (love the movies!), Peter has spider powers, and he uses it to help people, but then he doesn’t have time for himself. That’s a price he had to pay.
