knowing what i do of eastern thought:

1. virtue is a concept that is centred around a calm mind in eastern thought, just because someone can express themselves well does not mean that they are calm and confident in themselves.

2. Loyalty and truth are traits that every good human being should have as part of their personality. This is saying that people should not discount them, but aim to cultivate them in themselves.

3. Kindness towards other human beings is one of the cornerstones of eastern thought. By being kind to others, your own “brownie points” go up.

4. To be knowledgeable, is to know about the nature of human beings, as much as everything else. It is only by knowledge that one can make oneself (and others) better people. It may also mean that by knowing others, you are more able to defend your self against mental (or physical) attack.

5. Being generous is key in eastern thought. If you are generous to others, that generousity will come back to you.
