1.Reporting is the telling of events as they are happening. All reporters want the big story when a crisis is occurring.

2.Newpapers tell the story of how things appear to be happening. The public decides what the outcome of the event is.

‘The huntsmen from the Fourth Estate’ are journalists. They want stories about the showy, the peacock, or the powerful, the eagle.

And the stories they produce are snippets of history.

The second quote, I’m not sure. They, the journalists, tell the public whats happening, ‘which way the cat is jumping’. And then the public will decide if they agree. If it was a political story they might later show their disapproval by voting against the people who stirred that cat.

The way I see it, is if you don’t do anything it is as bad as doing something evil. For example, You see a little boy at a train station and he is standing on the tacks. You Know that once the train comes the boy will get hit. You see the boy and do nothing. You neglect him. The Boy gets hit. Who are you now? A murderer for doing nothing? Same as in a spiritual sense. If you do nothing and you are good then you are actually doing something bad by neglecting things. If christians don’t do anything the grow spiritually they are allowing evil things to come onto them just by nothing. We are always supposed to be doing something to grow spiritually.
