Receive Jesus with that receptivity.

A child doesn’t have bitterness or skepticism.

A child is open to love without cynicism.

A child does not try to take advantage of others.

A child is receptive to new ideas, not a hardened skeptic.

A child is a new wineskin, ready to receive a new wine.

A child defers to its elders. An adult should defer to the divine in like fashion.

A child is humble. So too should the adult be in the presence of God.

A child is unmolded, yet ready to take shape when offered a vision.

So too should the adult be in the presence of God.

A child is like a seed just starting to grow.

That is the way that catholic priests understood it

It is so easy to fool a kid and put your liquid waffer in the mouth or in the ***.

And mutch more easy to tell him it’s fault
