No. A rectangle doesn’t necessarily have to be a square. A square is when all sides are equal, opposite sides are parallel, perpindicular to adjacent sides, and diagonals are perpindicular. A rectangle is when opposite sides are parallel and perpindicular to adjacent sides. A rectangle CAN be a square, but a square is ALWAYS a rectangle.

That is true….all rectangles are squares, but not all squares are rectangles.
