It’s exactly the same as OMG…however, some people feel that using the Lord’s name in that way is sinful, so they leave it off.

Some say omg, which is the same thing. And some say oh my gawd, which is the original way to say it. It’s clearly a response to something that’s shocking, or sudden. It’s some times used in place of Dam it!.

Well just saying ” Oh My” can be good enough it doesn’t use any ones name it’s simple and to the point. ” Oh My ” is an expression of shock or disgust and it works great.
