It really depends on the school. Many law schools average your LSAT score so taking it over and over again does not give you the benefit that you think it would.

Look at various school’s admissions policy before taking the LSAT multiple times.

However, if you have a low score take it again. The LSAT is the number one factor schools look at in determining whether to admit you or not. Ignore whatever else they say about GPA, extra curricular activities, etc. They are lying. Its all about the LSAT!!

It might make them take a second look, but as long as you did not take the LSATs more than 2-3 times, it’s okay:)

not always. i had a friend who applied to notre dame law school and the admissions officer actually encouraged her to re-take the lsat to get her scores a little higher. i think if you take it like 20 times they might frown upon that. but re-taking it a few times to get the best possible score is not always a bad thing.

I guess it depends on the state. Many don’t pass the California Bar the first time… However…
