At a community college, you can only get an associate’s (two-year) degree. If you want the bachelor’s degree, you go to a four-year college or a university.

No, a community college offers associate degrees, not bachelor’s degrees. What you can do is get the AA, then finish the bachelor’s at a 4 yr. school. You will save a lot of money this way. An AA can be the first step to the BA, so you’re on the right track.

It depends. There are 2+2 programs at some colleges, where you get your associate’s degree and then go on to get your bachelor’s degree. If the school you are interested in does not have that option then get the associate’s degree and transfer to a 4 year institution to get the bachelor’s.

Community colleges only offer associate degrees. However, you can generally transfer the credits you earn there to a four-year college (check with the admissions offices of both schools for guidance on the classes that will help you most), and go on to earn your bachelors’ in two more years.

Most community colleges do not offer a bachelor’s degree; only an associate’s degree. State colleges or universities do offer bachelor’s though.

You can only earn your associates or a certificate a community college. However, most community colleges are linked with 4-year colleges to ensure that all of your credits transfer.

Most Comm. Colleges I’ve ever known of were 2 yr institutions. Check with your local CC though and see if they partner with any 4 yr Universities…you may be able to start out at the CC and transfer your credits when you get to a certain level.

Good luck!
