Knowing the meaning of life may not improve your life and for some people that’s too disappointing to handle, so mostly I keep it a secret.

There is but one gaurantee in any life: death. It can be sad, but it also helps to remember that immortality would cause us to take life for granted and not give it much importance. It is because we die that we strive to be or do anything because our time is limited and our only hope of immortality is to make something of ourselves, have children, and teach others what we think is important so that a part of us might live on in them. Without death, we might never be motivated to do any of these greatest things in life.
