Well, there are ALOT of new kids there. Your friends and you are starting puberty so you might make some new friends. I was forced to, because my best and only friend in Elementary moved away, so I made new friends. I thought middle school work was easier than Elementary, to be honest, we just couldn’t play on the playground which still makes me mad. It all depends on your friends. Alot of drama happens in middle school, but steer clear of that and everything will be OK. If you have classes with them, then you’ll probably still be friends with them.

Yes and no. No, if you really try at it but mainly yes. There are so many more new people and you start really figuring out who you are and what you like. Friends at that age drift apart. I remember when I was in middle school by the time I was in 7th grade I had new best friends and I was friends with not a single one of the kids I was with in elementary school. And even in high school, I was still best friends with the kids from middle school and not elementary school. Middle school really is where you find your true friends. Sorry I don’t mean to scare you that you won’t be friends with your friends now, it’s still possible.

Middle school is probably one of the biggest changes you’ll make in the educational world. It’s the beginning of schedules, six periods, choosing electives, and more importantly, puberty. It will change a lot of things, most likely, but not necessarily you, or your friends. You’ll have different classes and meet new people, make new friends, but it doesn’t prevent you from sticking by each other. I just completed middle school my self, and I’m off to high school now! x3 Over the course of the 3-4 (depends on the school system) years you spend in middle school, you’ll hang out with new people, but your real friends aren’t just going to vanish. If you make the effort to stick with them in any way, they won’t go anywhere. Good luck!! It’s lots of fun, don’t worry! *waves*

It is hard to say. Most people who have a very close relationship with their friends tend to stick together, but there is also so many new people. Some people will come while others may go. Classes will change and you won’t always be with the same people all the time. It is a great way to meet new people. Don’t worry….middle school will be a blast! 🙂

Oh, yes. You and your friends will be older, expected to be role models for the grade school set, while still being kids yourselves.
Everyday, you and your friends will change. Everyday, you will learn something new, meet someone new, start something new.
Change, by itself, is always good. The result of change can be scary and not always good.
The more you learn and the more you learn about yourself will make you ready for changes that will happen in your life.
I wish you the best of luck.

Yes. I went to a neighborhood school in fifth grade where I knew everybody and they knew me. In sixth grade we went to a much larger school and lost contact with friends over time while making new ones. Middle school gives your a world view outside your neighborhood. I miss fifth grade! I use to play tag and four square with the same girls who later became popular and athletic. Cliques become everywhere and you fall in your place, whether your rich, poor, cheerleader, jock, nerd, etc. Merge in where its the best fit for you.

It sort of depends if you have classes with them and stuff like that. At my Junior High, there are different teams, and if you aren’t on the same team as your best friend, you won’t see them very much. But look forward to making new friends and hopefully staying in touch with your current ones :]
