Why do you not believe in reforming your monolingual education?

Someone asked the question on whether the United States should reform their monolingual education. Most people said no. Why is that? Studies prove bilingual children do better in school. http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_qn4158/is_20061031/ai_n16830413

I think we should develope a language program that reflects the global market. Language classes are available for students in primary education, but they are usually elective. The most common being Spanish, French, and Latin, with recent editions including Japanes, German, and Chinese. The latter 3 are not available everywhere and they are still electives.

Most humans dont get it. ESL (English as a Second Language) categories arent taught wholly in spanish. Their intent is to slowly ease babies from a spanish speakme atmosphere into an english speakme one in order that they might be ready to compete with local born Americans. Most humans arent in ESL for the period of all 12 years of Primary & Secondary education, and stories have proven that ESL pupils do exactly as good as Mainstream pupils on standardised exams as soon as their english improves. More ESL categories might make certain that extra immigrant youngsters can succede on this nation. Having a populace that is expert is helping all folks cuz, if now not, we gonna have a complete lot of crime on our palms quickly.
