do i have to write an essay to get in to fidm?
i’m a junior in high school and i want to go to fidm but i’m afraid that i’m not going to make it because i’m bad at writing essays.

Yes actually you do write an essay. A friend of mine applied this past year and she got in. I helped her with her writing, so I saw what the prompt was. It’s nothing major and I’m sure if you wrote what you really wanted them to hear, you’ll be fine. But mostly, they’re going to be looking at your interview and your portfolio.

you wont be losing anything if u tried! just give it a try and see what happens! don’t forget the more you do it, the more experience and knowelege you’ll gain so just go for it!
