Much more work than middle school. Once you fall behind… your pretty much behind for the rest of the school year… unless you work your freekin a*s off to catch up.. late work isn’t accepted as much as middle school. You’ll notice that freshmans are the only ones running around in the hallways. [i’m not saying that just to hate on freshmans…. i noticed that in my freshman year….] There weren’t any specific cliques in my school…. so can’t help you with that. Don’t fall into peer pressure… sure you may say that it’s never going to get to you… but you really start to feel it. Nobody’s going to babysit you. Teacher’s wont remind you that your project is due tomorrow. Basically.. you have to be more independent. If you wanna act like a child.. go ahead…. you’re just going to make a fool out of yourself. Watch out for the guys who just want to get in your pants… they will tell you anything you want to hear…. guys will do anything just to get some play. Look for the nice guy that’s right under your nose. Alot of girls never realize that their close friend is the one for them. High school is when you start figuring out who your real friends are. Don’t be surprised when some friends you had in middle school fall into a different crowd. Make the best out of high school – especially freshman year. Time flys by faaaasssttt so have as much fun as you can. Sophomore, Junior, and Senior year is all about work and graduation. If a friend stabs you in the back.. forget about it and move on. Don’t waste your time on things like that. Oh yeah and watch out for Freshman Friday. If anybody asks if your a freshman… lie.

don’t procatinate.

your grades affect your college transcript.

some teachers just teach cause they get paid to do so.

you are responsible for your own learning

you won’t be blamed on the teacher for being late on the first day of school since your not familar with where all the classes are.

make friends that take you for who you are.

don’t make any scenes xD

It sucks.

-Twice the homework

-The teachers are assholes, each one gives you the homework to accommodate 6 classes

-There are so many people in the school its hard to see your friends around

-The classes are 140 minutes long

On the upside…

-Upperclassmen sometimes invite you to parties

-The teachers are more lenient. Meaning they will let you eat in class etc…

-You get treated like an adult

Get out while you can.

Ehh…it can be fun. Get involved with something.

Guys are immature. I didn’t date until the end of my junior year because I honestly could not stand how retarded they acted.

But if you are a preppy girl who loves cheerleading and boys and Hollister…you will fit into HS just fine.

Pain. It’s like mini-college with stupid teenagers

Take it very seriously…I wish I had. I was smart but goofed off and didn’t care.
