I know you know about NCLB. Well, part of this law mandates that schools will get more money for the least amount of behavioral problems.

So, the way schools make this happen is to NOT punish the bully! THe reason for this is because if they did, they would have to fill out forms and reports and this will be proof that they have behavior problems and they won’t get money!

So, they either ignore the whole bully situation OR they go after the kid being bullied and make him leave the school. The reason they do this is because they think this will stop the bullys behavior and then can get more money.

SO what you have to do is tell your parents to write to the school, stating everything that has happened to you and ask the school for a copy of their ”anti bully policy”.

WHen they get the copy of anti bully policy, send it to the superintendent along with a letter asking what are they going to do to be in compliance with their own laws. Also include a copy of the earlier letter that they sent to the principal.

Also get a copy of the state dept of education anti bully policy policy and the FEDERAL anti bully policy. Send all 3 of these in with the letter to the superintendent . And they should state if they don’t abide by the laws they are suppose to follow , they will take action against them.

It really does no good to go in and talk to principal. Everything needs to be done in writing. in meeting with the school, they will SAY anything, but DO nothing.

Everything that has happened to you should be put in writing, verbal doesn’t count.
