You’re smart enough, everyone is smart enough…(look at Forest Gump 😉 j/k). But, if you have to work a little bit harder than everyone else, it’s okay! You will just be that much more proud when you walk across that stage at graduation. Don’t pass up on college because you think you’re not smart enough. There are so many help groups in college that aid you on studying and things of that sort.

You can be a very smart person w/o even going to college. However the fact of the matter is, employers almost always look for a degree before they even want to look deeper to determine whether or not you’re smart.

Agree with first answerer, try out a community college to see how you like it.

My brother is in the same boat as you. Never thought he was very smart, unsure about what to do with his future. I’ve always told him to take a few classes at a community college while he tries to figure out what he wants to do. If it is college, well then he has a head start. If he desides to just work he’ll atleast have that extra bit of education that might help his job search

You should always think positive, always think that you are smart even if you are not. Later on you will find it easy for you to be smarter than anyone else. If your parents can afford to send you to college then go,don’t think twice for education is really that important now a days.I haven’t been in college since my folks could not afford it.Now that I’m married I really wish I had tried even just for a year in college.So don’t think twice just go to college after high school then things just come out later on in life even if you don’t want it.Don’t waste time, for as the saying goes TIME IS GOLD. Join the Military. You will gain work experience and have 4 years or so to decide what to do with your life. If you decide that college is for you then its paid for. I’ve noticed throughout my college career that the people who come here not sure if they want to be in college drift. They do poorly, party all the time, often times dropping out. I wouldn’t recommend college to anyone who doesn’t at least have an idea what they want out of life.

Go to a community college for a year to see how you like it. If you think you’re college material, you can always transfer your credits earned to another college. That way, you won’t have huge student loan debts if college isn’t for you.

Think about your interests…….don’t believe that not going to college will ruin your life…..of course I would recommend college, but it is not for everyone. My husband only went for 2 semesters and makes very good money, he went to work for a field in which he is passionate about. that is the answer!

if you are able, PLEASE go to college. you’re looking at a loser future if you do not – do what ever it takes – this is the single most important thing you’ll ever decide…
