What’s proper? He is blazing fast, or he is blazingly fast?
I’m curious because fast is an adjective, and blazing modifies an adjective, so does it take the adverbial form.

Blazingly fast.
Blazingly is an adverb modifying fast.
When you say “blazing fast”, fast modifies blazing; in other words, you could say, “He is blazing”(assuming blazing is slang for something) and when you say “He is blazing fast”… well, you get the picture!

I’ve seen “Blazingly fast” used everywhere, so I guess it must be correct.
