I didn’t go to high school in Grand Junction, but I can tell you the area is wonderful. You will be close to all sorts of recreation, summer and winter. If you ski, you will be close to some of the best areas in the entire world. If you hike, you’ll be in paradise. If you like to look at people who are generally healthy and active…get ready! Colorado has its problems, but if I had to pick only one state in the US to be for the rest of my life, Colorado would be the place.
